Connext Network will be integrating Aave Portals!
Connext’s Proposal for Aave Has Just Passed!
Snapshot vote passed with 99.78% in favor and $16.8m of $AAVE voting. Testnet implementation is complete and Portals support will launch as part of our Amarok upgrade!
A proposal to whitelist Connext, a trust minimized cross chain protocol, for V3 Portals on 6 chains: Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Harmony - with credit lines for USDC ($2m on each chain), USDT ($1m on each chain) and ETH (40 ETH on each chain).
Twitter Space Series ‘Burning Bridges’ Session 6 was live
Twitter Space series called ‘Burning Bridges’ is hosted by Arjun Bhuptani and Conner Swann to make the DeFi community learn more about interoperability and L2s. Burning Bridges is live every 2 weeks on Twitter Space.
Also, Burning Bridges has its own Twitter account and Youtube channel!
Session 6 topic was ‘the failed attack on the NEAR Protocol: Rainbow Bridge’.

Evmos is live and to encourage early adopters, SpaceFi launches Evmos Eco Airdrop, covering $EVMOS stakers/holders, bridge users who transfer assets into Evmos, IBC/ERC20 module users.

Join The Contributor Program and Earn $NEXT
Connext’s Contributor Program is launched on April 20 to accelerate its decentralization and Phase One is now live:
Phase One of the program has taken place now and our official contributors who got accepted to the program have started working on their ideas now.
We received more than 6.000 applications!
We are thrilled by the number of contributors and can’t wait to welcome you all.
The agreements are being sent out in batches to the rest of the applicants by our Core Team.
Applicants can select between 5 Tracks:
Participants of the program will be given points based on the quality of their contributions to the ecosystem using evaluation criteria developed by Track Operators.
When the NEXT token goes live, we plan to submit a proposal to the Connext DAO to retroactively reward participants proportional to points received.
1. Community Leadership: Be a Community Leader
You can be Connext's face. Assist users, communicate updates, and serve and protect the community in general by leading by example.

2. Builders: Support Builders
Craft new ways to use Connext Network, and create technical docs that can help and inspire other developers in the ecosystem.

3. Content & Education: Create Content and Spread Knowledge
How about creating content that spreads Connext’s vision and educates the broader community about bridges, trustless cross-chain communication, and our technology?
Creativity level required: Advanced
DeFi/Bridges Knowledge: Recommended
4. Routers: Work on the incentivized testnet as a router
Routers are the backbone of the network. Work with the best infra players in the space to improve the routers' experience.
Passion for Web3 Infra: Required
Extreme desire for automation: Appreciated
5. Grants: Receive a grant for your idea
Do you want to support researchers and innovators working on new exciting projects? Jump on the Grants track.
