Welcome to a new week of multi-chain world Connexters!
There is no such thing as ‘calm week’ for Connext Ecosystem, this week was not an exception :)
Let’s dive deep together what happened in the previous days:
Last week in Connext
Connext has integrated Fuse Network, it’s now possible to bridge tokens to/from Fuse using the xPollinate user interface of Connext. Also Fuse developers are able to integrate Connext’s bridging functionality into their DApps.
Connext has also integrated Moonbeam Network, yes, we’re supporting almost every network now :). Users can instantly transfer assets to/from Moonbeam directly to/from other L2s & chains on xPollinate.
Connext Protocol’s powerful SDK allows builders to create new cross chain experiences. With that vision, Swing has integrated Connext to power their cross chain swaps. Swing is a decentralized protocol that aggregates liquidity and bridges across blockchains, enabling traders and yield farmers to move crypto capital efficiently.
According to community-made dashboard on Dune Analytics, Connext is one of the most used protocols (by transaction count) on Optimism.
Our Co-founder Arjun Bhuptani discussed “The Great L2 Migration” with the creators of Optimism, UMA, Hop Protocol and MOVR on a live episode of Bankless. We suggest you to watch/listen this great episode to learn more about capital efficiency, trust assumptions, and the impending explosion of activity.
Bankless (and we all) thinks 2022 is going to be a huge year for Layer 2 scaling solutions. Cross-Chain protocols will be a crucial infrastructure for the great migration to L2s, allowing users to bridge assets across platforms. The projects and representatives each present cryptographic solutions for building a web of liquidity across the many suburbs of DeFi, where average users will live and engage.
Arjun Bhuptani has also just started a Twitter Space series called ‘Burning Bridges’ to make community learn more about interoperability and L2s.
First week topics were:
- Intro of speakers and the series
- Why does decentralization/trust-minimization matter?
- The Progressive Decentralization playbook
- How can users cut through BS?
Next session will be in 2 weeks, follow Arjun not to miss it!
